The Sutherland District Trade Union Club

The Sutherland District Trade Union Club (Tradies) has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Community Contribution in The Australian Business Awards 2018. The Australian Business Award for Community Contribution recognises organisations that implement initiatives that have a positive impact on the community and generate outcomes that have a long-term benefit.

“Tradies is incredibly proud that our iPromise Grants Program has been recognised as an ABA 100 Winner for Community Contribution. It is an honour to be recognised and not only acknowledge the hard work of our staff and Board but also the commitment of iPromise applicants who constantly surprise and inspire us with their innovative ideas and commitment to environmental sustainability. Since introducing the Grants in 2014, we have received over 200 applications and contributed over $48,000 to sustainability projects in schools and community organisations across NSW. Each of these projects, no matter how big or small, makes a difference to the community and we are proud to be helping them build a more sustainable future.”
