Myfreight has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Logistics Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2020. The Australian Business Award for Logistics Innovation [LOG] recognises products and services that provide innovative solutions for new and existing market needs in the fields of logistics and supply chain management.

Myfreight is an Australian born freight management company. They specialise in optimising supply chain and logistics for enterprise level businesses. Myfreight also have their own cloud-based software system, Myfreight FMS. Myfreight begun in 1991 solely focused on freight brokering and management. In 2012 they embarked on the journey to create a revolutionary cloud-based Freight Management System (FMS). The software was built and tested over two years in 2012 and 2013 before being released to the public in 2014. At the time of release, Myfreight was the only cloud-based freight management software. Since then, Myfreight has maintained its reputation of being a clear technological leader releasing disruptive technology in the freight and logistics sector. Myfreight have received national and international recognition and demand for their products and currently service over 200 enterprises within Australia and Internationally. This has resulted in expanding their range of software to release more innovative and disruptive products, including Mydelivery (2017), Myparcel (2019) and Supplier Freight (2020).

Myfreight offers three different tiers of freight management to offer our clients flexibility based on their individual needs. Myfreight’s user experience design was conducted in reference to the end user of the product – blue collar workers in warehouse environments. Understanding the preferences and day to day challenges of the end user, who likely engages in repetitious work, coordinates high volumes of freight bookings and works within strict deadlines, they opted to simplify the design of the system. Working within the cloud ensures that users never have to save or reload webpages – they can work continuously and hassle free. Myfreight can deliver remote training to hundreds of people within minutes. Their system has been designed to be extremely user intuitive and minimise human error. Anyone can be trained to use the system, with minimal disruption to business operations. Across their hundreds of clients and individual integrations, MyFreight have never come across a business they are unable to integrate with. Working within the cloud enables their system to be flexible enough to adapt to each customer.

One of the most distinctive features of their platform is that Myfreight and its umbrella products can be individually branded to suit each customer. This is highly favourable to customers who prefer their internal business systems to be company branded. This assists by enabling instant identification of freight arriving in their store or warehouse and instantaneous detection of track and trace information. It also supports their customers business growth, through brand exposure.
