Originally a freight broker, MyFreight has established themselves as a freight management software provider with the in-house development and release of MyFreight software – a cloud based freight management system.

MyFreight software was developed with the day-to-day needs of the modern industry in mind, aiming to optimise current and future cloud technologies to deliver state of the art, real-time freight management solutions. MyFreight has been designed to solve long waiting times for reports and data evaluation by generating reports viewable at any time, from any location, to clients with internet access.

Utilising a learning engine that makes use of stored software data rather an individual carrier’s public transit timing, MyFreight evolves to become even smarter and more accurate as time progresses. As a cloud-based service, MyFreight have placed an emphasis on redundancy and reliability in the development of their software platform, backing up data in multiple locations to help prevent downtime for clients. Auto-scaling functionality also provides clients with high speed service and zero-down time deployment means clients don’t have to shut down their computers to receive software upgrades and updates.

The design of the software aims to ensure all freight data is in the same location, helping to streamline administrative processes by reducing repetition of actions and promoting faster query turn around. MyFreight has also been designed to be user friendly, with an understanding that training should be able to be delivered in minutes, requiring simplicity of use and visual appeal throughout the platform.

Since going live in May 2014, MyFreight was able to provide its services to 4,000 users across 600 sites in just three months.
