The EGO Power Plus Self Propelled Lawn Mower is the industry’s first cordless, rechargeable and self-propelled lawn mower. Built on the proven design and features of the EGO 56V Power Plus ARC Lithium platform, the new self-propelled model is a powerful and innovative alternative to traditional combustion engine self-propelled units. It offers the torque of petrol without the noise, fuss and fumes. Powered by the industry’s highest capacity and most advanced battery, it offers industry leading run time, rapid recharge times, power and performance.

The average petrol powered lawn mower produces 441.38kg/C002‐eq during its operating life. The EGO Power Plus Mower boasts a total absence of operating emissions. The mower produces no nasty fumes and does not require regular oil replacement. The mower eliminates the need for petrol and therefore eliminates the dangerous, smelly and inconvenient handling and storage of petrol and oil. The mower is suitable for both domestic and commercial use, whilst being suitable for mowing at any time. The mower is rated at 75 weighted decibels allowing it to be precluded from usual council restrictions.

Based on a close evaluation of the current local self-propelled market landscape, the product will be positioned as a medium price pointed product, to ensure that consumers include it during their decision making process.
