CommBank Adopted a customer centric approach to design with a focus on empathy through research, framing the problem, customer needs, generative ideation and prototyping and validation.

The CommBank Property App offers market leading tools and features to help customers make informed property buying decisions. The purpose of the app is to help Australians discover how affordable a property could be, search for properties that suit their lifestyle based on their financial position, assess a property’s estimated market price and when they are ready, and take the first steps to apply for a loan by applying for conditional eligibility. Users can even share their favourite property searches with a buying partner or friend, access relevant articles and information, access various calculators, and view suburb insights to evaluate an area’s long term performance. Users are also able to view real time property search listings, save their favourite properties and see inspection dates.

The CommBank Property app is particularly unique because it uses expert bank knowledge — which draws on multiple data sources — to provide customers with the most comprehensive estimated market price in the market.
