GlobalX is an Australian organisation that develops and supports software workflow solutions for the legal, conveyancing and allied business communities. All GlobalX solutions are fully integrated, providing access to the most comprehensive range of regulatory information searches and legal support services across Australia.
Each day, tens of thousands of legal, conveyancing and business professionals utilise GlobalX’s suite of market-leading workflow management solutions to facilitate matters end-to-end; effectively in a way that complies with stringent legislative requirements, whilst enabling them to do more, in less time, and to do it better than their competitors all via one solution.
In August 2016 GlobalX launched a new cloud-based software solution, Matter Centre, to serve small-to- medium conveyancing and legal organisations. Matter Centre has been developed for conveyancers by GlobalX’s own team of conveyancers and legal technologists. By integrating with the Property Exchange Australia (PEXA) platform, Matter Centre enables conveyancers to perform traditional and electronic property settlements. The advent of electronic conveyancing in Australia has been a revolutionary change for conveyancers and lawyers, who now can perform property settlements online in addition to, or rather than, via the more time-consuming paper-based process.
Born out of a Council of Australian Government (COAG) initiative, the PEXA platform allows the online processing of new mortgages, mortgage discharges, transfer of ownership, settlement, caveats and notices, eliminating the need to physically attend settlements, while reducing the prevalence of errors in property transactions. Importantly, PEXA has been the first national platform to host stakeholders involved in the transfer of property online.
Having specialised in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry for more than two decades, GlobalX was perfectly placed to address the technological and workflow needs. From the outset, we realised that seamless workflow would be imperative to driving efficiency, and therefore set about delivering an increased standard of product, interconnectivity plus the ability to access the latest third-party innovations.
What resulted was a feature-rich, cost-effective and forward-looking product that is highly effective and efficient for end users. Since launch, Matter Centre has already driven optimum efficiency and performance during daily workflow for the SMEs it services.

The Australian Business Awards are an annual comprehensive awards program which recognises organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of business and product award categories. The Australian Business Awards are the national chapter of an integrated, hierarchical leadership program conducted on a national and international level. Eligible organisations participate in the international chapter of the program at The World Business Awards. Conducted annually, The World Business Awards seeks to engage with the world’s business, innovation and technology leaders through a global recognition and knowledge building initiative that is underpinned by the program’s established framework. The program engages with organisations worldwide to benchmark the full spectrum of their products, services and initiatives and to review their business performance. The cycle culminates in the recognition and celebration of organisations that implement world-class business initiatives, projects, products and services.
Organisations that participate are provided with the unique opportunity to benchmark themselves against the top performers globally. The recipients are acknowledged for their achievements and identified as the elite of their industry earning a place amongst a distinguished group by having their projects, initiatives, products, services, contributions and achievements being recognised on a prominent and far-reaching scale. The program provides the ultimate platform for building knowledge, increasing brand awareness, equity, loyalty and retention through increased exposure, recognition and prestige. This establishes a valuable resource that can be used extensively to create opportunities for publicity, positive organisational profiling and heightened brand awareness within the respective industries both nationally and internationally.
