Healthi, powered by Chamonix IT Solutions, is a free mobile app empowering Australians to manage their family’s health through access to summary health information via My Health Record. Healthi saves time and ensures accurate sharing of information by carrying users’ medical data with them and having it available to relevant healthcare providers. Since the opt-out period ended, 22 million Australians now have a My Health Record and the company identified an opportunity to produce an app that simplified the accessing of this important health information for Australians across all demographics.
The Healthi mobile app allows users to access summary health information, recent healthcare visits, health provider generated documents such as hospital discharge summaries and pathology reports, medications and personally entered information such as allergies and advance care documents. Healthi uses MyGov account details to access users’ My Health Record information. A user entered PIN secures the Healthi app, and data is safely accessed from the user’s device. Documents displayed can be sourced from GP’s, Public and Private Hospitals, Allied Health Professionals and other health providers registered to upload records to the My Health Record.
The Healthi team was led by Chamonix IT Solutions Directors, Geoff Rohrsheim and Scott Grigg, each bringing with them extensive commercial expertise and longstanding experience working with the health agencies. Healthi is one of only four apps approved by the ADHA to connect to My Health Record. Healthi is currently the only app to allow the extraction and display of immunisation record data for users.
