BrightHR

BrightHR has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Cloud Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2021. The Australian Business Award for Cloud Innovation [CLD] recognises cloud-based products and services that provide innovative solutions for business and market needs.

“Empowering small business owners and helping them to understand the intricacies of running a business, BrightHR has proven over the past two years just how imperative an easy to use HR platform is for Australian SMEs.

“Our cloud-based employee management apps like Blip, PoP and Payroll Navigator, our VaccTrak COVID-19 vaccination tracker and BrightSafe health and safety software, are all features that have enabled our clients to run their businesses effectively anytime, anywhere – all at the touch of a button.

“These services have saved our clients time, money and effort, and helped them understand and meet their employer obligations.

“We look forward to growing as a company alongside our clients, and are honoured to be recognised as a winner in the 2021 Australian Business Awards.”

David Price, Managing Director, BrightHR

BrightHR is an award-winning HR cloud software and support service for small business owners, available on desktop and mobile. BrightHR’s solutions are designed to transform people management for small businesses by providing innovative HR and health and safety software, giving employers all the tools and support they need to manage and grow their business.

At its core, BrightHR’s people management software makes it quicker and easier for employers to approve staff holidays, log sickness, track lateness, plan rotas, and store all confidential business documents in one place. Staff can use the software and associated apps to request time off, check their remaining holiday allowance, and get real-time rota updates on their mobiles. Extra support services also include 24/7 employment law advice, expert health & safety guidance, and a confidential employee wellbeing programme.

BrightHR is continually evolving and expanding its products through listening to customer feedback which has been the catalyst for many of its latest and most innovative features.

In 2020, BrightHR had to respond to a huge shift in customer demand as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. When lockdowns and restrictions came into effect, business owners had to suddenly adapt to new rules, regulations, and processes. BrightHR moved fast and created a full suite of software to support employers through every stage of the COVID-19 pandemic in-line with changing government guidance.

For example the BrightSafe module, which helps businesses manage their health and safety obligations in one place, was tailored to provide specific support for COVID-related challenges through infection control risk assessment templates, back-to-work guides, and H&S eLearning courses.

Similarly, BrightHR implemented the VaccTrak feature, an add-on to the already pre-existing BrightHR portal that can monitor the COVID-19 vaccination record of all employees. At the click of a button, employers can see a list of all their employees, mark down who has been fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, or unvaccinated, and plan their roster accordingly. Not only does this reduce the danger of spreading the virus if an outbreak were to occur, but it also provides that piece of mind.
