Myfreight is an Australian freight management and software company with more than 30 years of experience building and delivering bespoke supply chain solutions.
Founded in 1991, the DNA of Myfreight was derived from providing exceptional freight management (4PL) services whilst solving complex freight challenges for businesses of all sizes across Australia and more recently, New Zealand. Myfreight services a wide range of industries including but not limited to retail, lifestyle, medical, industrial, agricultural, building and mining. Exposure to various industries and businesses has led us to develop innovative products to solve industry-wide challenges, including our consumer and small business freight management platform, Myparcel, and our return freight and inbound shipping portal, Supplier Freight.
After building a strong reputation through our exceptional freight management services, Myfreight embarked on developing our own cloud-based enterprise-level Freight Management System (FMS), Myfreight IQ. Myfreight IQ was created to offer our clients a freight management system that satisfies their diverse requirements while maintaining their own established carrier relationships. Our software provides access to multiple transport providers through a single platform and integrates with our customers’ existing ERP or WMS to automate the consigning, despatch, and booking functions of daily distribution.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and subsequent changes in consumer behaviour, we saw many of our clients pivot to an online-centric sales model. We assisted our clients to move away from centralised B2B distribution models with retail stores to B2C models that are reliant on their customers purchasing online in order to remain operational. To support our clients during this time, Myfreight developed direct plugins with several popular e-commerce shopping platforms for ease of configuration and to integrate seamlessly with the Myfreight FMS.
Myfreight clients have full visibility of their supply chain to make proactive decisions from their mobile or desktop. Clients are provided access to interactive data, updated in real-time, to assist in making informed business decisions. This has been crucial during the coronavirus pandemic where unforeseen events such as lockdowns can have major impacts on Australia’s supply chain, often without much forewarning. Using current and historic data, our clients have been able to predict and respond quickly to minimise the impact on their businesses. Myfreight is well placed to assist businesses to navigate their logistics challenges through this time, due to our exposure and experience across numerous industries for more than three decades.
