Baiada Poultry was founded in 1943 and today still remains a family owned and managed Australian business. Baiada Poultry employs over 5,000 people with a proud reputation for upholding traditional, family values and a legacy for giving back to the community.

Over the years, we’ve made a conscious effort to give back to those who need it the most. In that time, we’ve supported hundreds of local communities and raised meaningful funds for children’s charities. As a means of giving back to our local communities, Baiada provides product donations and support for over 120 fundraisers, fetes and causes annually as well as supporting over 50 schools and sporting teams through our Grassroots and Schools programs.

Seeing an opportunity to truly make a difference, the Steggles Charity Nest was started by the leadership team and staff in the early 2000s. Under the Steggles brand and through the sponsorship of the Roosters, Baiada established the Steggles Charity Nest Initiative to boost our involvement with organisations that focus on worthwhile children’s causes.

We’ve helped charities such as Children’s Cancer institute, Ronald McDonald House, Griffith Riding for the Disabled, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, Autism SA, Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and more.

So far, over $10 million has been raised for Aussie kids in need.

The last 2 years has been a difficult period for our charity partners and local communities. With charities locking down to protect their most vulnerable, access to our charity partners has been tough. Despite the challenges, our team has worked tirelessly with our charities and local communities to maximise the support we can offer – with a focus to help put smiles on the faces of the cheeky little Stegglers that need it most.
