In 2021, Blue Seed was approached by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA). This non-profit is a global centre of expertise for cerebral palsy research, advocacy, intervention, and assistive technology innovation. CPA provides services to thousands of people with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities and their families. While CPA was eager to implement a range of organisational changes, the organisation needed help delivering change. CPA required support and adoption to realise the full potential of their change programs. Hence Blue Seed Consulting used its expertise in organisational change to implement a suite of modifications to CPA’s programs to promote a strong likelihood of success.

To achieve meaningful change, Blue Seed assessed CPA’s Change Capability Assets, which is the model that underpins their proprietary Change Maturity Accelerator method. The Change Capability Assets are categorised into the traditional organisational elements of People, Processes, and Systems. Following Blue Seed’s Change Framework, they helped CPA with implementation approaches, impact assessment and Organisational Readiness assessments. Blue Seed also provided change resourcing and methodology advice to CPA’s Customer Service Transformation Program, which involved creating a new customer service portal and other digital solutions to streamline services. Additionally, Blue Seed engaged with CPA in continuous education, beginning with building the Change Capability Assets and explaining to stakeholders how they work and create value. Due to Blue Seed’s change capability development effort, CPA was better positioned to generate a significant return on their change investment.
