Thinxtra T-Tracker

Thinxtra T-Tracker has been selected as an ABA100® Winner for Supply Chain Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2023. The Australian Business Award for Supply Chain Innovation [SCI] recognises products and services that provide innovative solutions for business and market needs in the field of supply chain management.

Thinxtra is an Australian-owned and operated company that provides affordable, sustainable access to asset data using the high-accessibility Massive Internet of Things (IoT). Thinxtra’s solutions enable organisations across many industries to access untapped insights more consistently and at a lower cost to accelerate growth, efficiency and positive impact globally.

Thinxtra’s asset tracking solution – T-Tracker – offers supply chain, logistics and transportation organisations and organisations that rely on supply chain processes. This solution allows organisations to improve their operational efficiency, reduce waste, contribute to sustainability and their ESG targets, save costs, and find new revenue streams.

The T-Tracker is an asset-tracking solution that comprises a wireless asset tracker/device, 0G network connectivity and a cloud-based data analytics platform. Thinxtra has selected and tested the technology and market-leading IoT devices for its customers’ needs and combined them with its 0G connectivity and data analytics platform specifically designed for asset management and supply chain process optimisation. Thinxtra offers one of the most innovative and commercially compelling asset-tracking solutions.

The T-Tracker can be applied to various assets and answers three questions regarding location, condition and movement. Thinxtra’s solution is ideal for use cases that involve the following criteria:

  • Non-powered assets, which are often low-value/cost.
  • The asset data to be collected is only required a certain number of times, e.g. 2-3 times a day, not all the time, as is the case with cellular/GPS solutions.
  • Very specific data is required, e.g., the asset’s location, the asset, the condition of the asset (e.g. temperature, or if it has been damaged or tampered with), and whether it’s empty/full.

The T-Tracker solution was developed over several years through Thinxtra’s partnerships with IoT solution providers and manufacturers, starting in 2019 with its partners Konvoy and Loscam. One of the unique differentiators that Thinxtra offers is an in-house product development team and network maintenance team. Both teams are crucial to implementing Thinxtra’s solutions and ongoing customer success. These teams invest in R&D and enhancements that ensure Thinxtra is meeting customer needs and investing in advancements that will address customer challenges now and in the future.
